That was the whole point. She wasn't a princess, and her life definitely wasn't good at all. However, she learned that you can't do much about circumstances you can't control. She also learned that she shouldn't sacrifice her beliefs and values no matter what authority figure told her it was the right thing to do. Also, there is no way you can deny that the character development of PL was phenomenal. Also, about Pan’s Labyrinth. That was the whole point. She freakin died. Yeah, she went to a better place... but it wasn't to become some princess... SHE DIED... i am still bitter about the whole thing. And eternal sunshine of the spotless mind in my opinion was good for the end..... BRAVO... what an ending. Although the lil kids scenes were interesting, it would be fulfilling to know why add those in there.... Interesting..... But commentary sucks in movies.... and thats only because the donny darko commentary was utterly useless and that made me sad because the movie was just a bunch of rambled up... garbage... and it tricked me into thinking it made sense.....
