Chinese Food Lady Knows Me By Voice

Awesome story folks:

Today I called in my order at the local Chinese food place for the first time ever, because I finally remembered to bring a menu home last time. I went to pick up the order, and the lady already knew what I had ordered because she recognized my voice. Not only that, but she fixed my order to include the fried rice that I always ask for because she knew I had forgotten to mention it. Now that is service!

I had always been jealous of the Wilsons for their friendship with multiple Chinese food restaurants. Now I have one of my own.  Too bad I’m leaving in a week.

The Quality Service of Long John Silver’s

Long John Silvers

I feel the need to set apart a small chunk of my day to praise the excellent service I consistently receive at the Long John Silver’s nearest my apartment.  I generally visit this fine establishment a little bit after the dinner rush, seeking to obtain a much needed meal to fulfill my hunger.  The employees there are always friendly, and never take themselves too seriously.  Generally, a group of two to three of them can be found smoking (pot?) near the dumpster in the rear of their building.  After smiling to them I head inside and order a number 8, plus four shrimp added on.  I generally receive three chicken planks, and more than four shrimp (this time I got six).  Also, the employees at this LJS never skimp on the crispies (the small bits of fried batter that came off of the chicken during its time in the fryer).  As a long time proponent of Long John Silver’s (and congestive heart failure), I have been known to consume the crispies left over after a satisfying meal.  This truly does add to the experience.

As my meal came to a close tonight, I searched desperately for a comment card of some sorts.  All I was able to find was a homeless looking man who had removed his dentures to enjoy a fine supper.  As a result, I decided I would instead document my quality experience on my blog instead.
